Tara Firenzi is a local teacher and dancer/choreographer with a specialty in tap and Broadway. She has performed in tap shows (improvisational and choreographed) in New York City, Los Angeles, and the Bay Area, and has taught adult and children’s dance all over the county for more than fifteen years. Also trained in jazz, lyrical and ballet, she has choreographed more than a dozen full-length musical productions for several local theater groups, including Anything Goes, Crazy for You, and Singin’ in the Rain for Kids on Broadway; CATS, Footloose, Suessical, 42nd Street, Hello Dolly and West Side Story for Pacific Collegiate School; Mame for Scotts Valley Performing Arts; and Fiddler on the Roof for Mountain Community Theater’s youth program.
Kathryn Adkins has 20 years experience teaching theater, voice and directing. She has performed in Europe and for diverse companies including Opera Theater of St. Louis, Cabrillo Music Festival, Santa Cruz Symphony, and Tandy Beal and Co. and has a long performing history with Cabrillo Stage. She recently directed It’s A Wonderful Life for Cabrillo Theatre Arts department and will direct another wonderful musical fall 2017. She is passionate about keeping singers voices healthy and strong in order to support the demands of performance.
